TCS Webs Aims
The aim of the site is to provide:
- full details of all the articles and issues published in the two journals and the titles in the TCS Book Series
- free supplementary material to various issues, articles and books (interviews with authors, issue editors, debates and extra material)
- extra material on the key intellectual figures and themes which appear in the journals and books. Some of this is in the form of editorial commentary along with guides to reading and web-links
- information about the Theory, Culture & Society New Encyclopaedia Project along with discussions and supplements
- details of conferences, colloquia and other activities initiated by the journal editorial group
- information about the TCS Centre at Nottingham Trent University
Instructions for using TCS Webs
In consonance with the above aims, TCS Webs has a network of pages linking to each other as well as to relevant external websites. The top and left menubars provide a uniform series of links to important sections of the website. The third tier menu (the horizontal blue bar) contains page-specific links. The Homepage also contains pictorial links to the important sections of the website. TCS Webs also contains scrollable book browser and photo browser sections. Scroll down to view more titles or images. Move your mouse cursor over an image to view brief details about it. Click the image to open a detailed popup window explaining more about the image. Popup windows require Javascript to be enabled (if your browser does not have java installed, you can download it from here). On the TCS Extra page, there are several links to podcasts.
