BELMAS Development Grants are a way supporting learning and development activities organised by BELMAS members. They are intended to support ventures that generate dynamism and creativity in the educational leadership and management field and promote learning, development and improvement.

Examples of the kinds of activities that the Society would be interested in supporting include:
  • an innovative whole-school leadership development programme involving educational leadership professionals from different sectors
  • an inter-institutional collaboration involving institutions from different sectors of the educational leadership and management community to develop understandings in educational leadership and management
  • a small-scale, innovative research and development project that involved researchers from higher education and school leaders
  • an inter-institutional collaboration involving institutions from different sectors of the educational leadership and management community to develop understandings in educational leadership and management
  • an educational leadership development workshop involving participants from different settings that is also part funded by another organisation.
  •
These examples are illustrative and are not meant to constrain innovation and creativity.
Applications will normally involve participants from the compulsory and non-compulsory sectors of the educational leadership, management and administration community.
